Les Rosbifs is a good-natured French nickname for the English which originated in the kitchen. It was an 18th Century gastronomic term describing our distinctive style of cooking meats. Les Rosbifs Shiraz is the perfect match for a good old-fashioned Sunday Lunch. Bon appétit, as we say in English!
Winemaking & Vineyards
Selected vineyards favoured by Languedoc expert, Thierry Boudinaud around the towns of Pézenas and Uzès were harvested by machine during September. At the winery, the grapes are destemmed and crushed then macerated for 12 days, pumping over twice a day. Cool pre-fermentation maceration for 48 hrs, 8 days fermentation at 25oC in stainless steel and concrete vats. Left on thin lees for 6 months.
Smooth and refined with aromas of ripe red berry fruits, vanilla and a touch of spice.
