DESCRIPTION

Vineyards along the western coast of France are cooled by Atlantic Ocean breezes and produce some of the world’s finest Sauvignon Blanc grapes. A modern, aromatic, zesty dry French white.

TASTING NOTES

Vibrant tropical fruit and citrus aromas blend with intensely fruity and zesty flavorsmaking this crisp, dry white a fresh and delicious crowd pleaser. The addition of a  small amount of Colombard brings some hints of apple and white peach. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

FOOD MATCH

This aromatic, easy-drinking French white can be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif. It will also accompany grilled fish and Asian cuisine beautifully.

VITICULTURE / VINIFICATION

Fabulous Sauvignon Blanc grapes are grown on the clay limestone soil and harvested at full maturity in late August. Slow and gentle pressing follows the first phase of maceration to extract the aromatic compounds contained in the skins. 11 days of fermentation take place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 17C

DESCRIPTION

This wine is produced for family-owned Casa Santos Lima by Casa de Vila Verde Soc. Aric. Lda., whose wine heritage dates back to the 17th Century. TASTING NOTES

Perfect combination between the aromas of four of the most famous grape varieties of the region. The result is a young, fresh, fruity wine, with a great crispy acidity.

DESCRIPTION

Bordeaux vineyards are cooled by Atlantic Ocean breezes and produce elegant and dry pale pink Rosé wines like this. Atlantique is a Cabernet Franc led blend that is more than a match for many more expensive options from Provence.

TASTING NOTES

Pale pink, yet a vibrant food friendly Rosé in the classic French style. There is plenty of wild strawberry and raspberry fruit on the nose. The palate is deliciously fresh, elegant, and soft with crisp acidity. Generous fruit flavors, but delightfully dry.

FOOD MATCH

Perfect fresh from the chiller, as an aperitif or with salads, white meats cooked on the grill and even lightly spiced Asian dishes. Suitable for vegans

VITICULTURE / VINIFICATION

The vineyards are situated in the heart of the Entre deux Mers region, on hillsides close to the smallest village in France: Castelmoron-d’Albret. Top quality vineyards grow on a mixture of limestone, clay, and porous silt soils that supply the fabulous Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes harvested at the beginning of September. After gentle pressing and careful racking, the alcoholic fermentation is started at a low temperature (16°C) and lasts 12 days.
