Anciano wines are appreciated around the world and we come across masses of positive reviews. For example, Dr. Booze, wine writer for the Regina Leader-Post, says cellared wine is “more refined, more elegant, and altogether more of a pleasure”.

“The wine of the week this week is Anciano, an inexpensive Spanish wine. It’s a traditional Tempranillo from Valdepenas, a region that doesn’t get the respect of Rioja. The wine is released old, 10 years to be precise…This is a perfect carnivore’s wine. It’s wonderful with lamb, or steak, barbecues and old cheeses.”
